This shingled barnhouse is furnished in a country contemporary style with its original hand-hewn beams, an open balcony overlooking the living room, and a wooden spiral staircase. |

Our barnhouse is designed around the hand-hewn beams in their original placement from former barn days. One beam, however, which was once used for calf tethering, was moved to provide the balcony railing which overlooks our cathedral living room. The balcony features a hanging basket chair with skylight above . . . a cozy place to relax quietly or read your favorite book. We have two country rooms:
The Water Garden Room The Water Garden Room offers a queen-size bed handcrafted by the owner and a stenciled private bath. |

The room opens on to a deck surrounded by pine and cedar trees. As you rest, you will hear the water trickling in our silo foundation water garden, the springtime peepers, and birds chirping. A friendly cardinal sings morning reveille and squirrels jump from tree to tree. |

The Balcony Hayloft Suite Our balcony suite features a queen-size bed and two twin beds, hand-hewn beams, sloping hayloft ceilings, handcrafted country curtains, quilt comforters, and wicker furniture. |

our deck. Enjoy maple syrup from our own sugar bush and jams
